The history of Valdivieso goes back to 1879, year in which Don Alberto Valdivieso founded Champagne Valdivieso, the first sparkling wine house in Chile and South America. Ever since Valdivieso has been one of the most respected and prestigious brands in the Chilean beverage industry.

About 20 years ago, after almost a century of excellent reputation and experience in winemaking, the commercial production of still wines at our winery in Lontué -Curicó Valley- was definitively brought forward.

The Valdivieso wines have had a short yet plentiful history of achievements, succeeding in the most important markets and obtaining the most outstanding awards around the world. These achievements are not an objective by themselves, they are the outcome to a deeply rooted philosophy that aims to produce top ranked wines with a distinctive and attractive appeal.
